New Delhi: Japan’s Suzuki Motor Corporation this week unveiled the A: Wind hatchback at 30th Thailand International Motor Expo 2013. The car will reportedly go into production next year in Thailand.
A: Wind has a very youthful appeal to it as can be seen through the colour combination it uses in the interior
as well as the exterior. A dash of exterior colour has been very artistically placed in the dashboard, steering wheel, seat covers and the gear panel. The look of the car is youthful and at the same has elegance. The current colour availability is Energy Yellow and Panoramic Blue.
A: Wind is powered by a 996CC 3-cylinder petrol engine. It has a roomy cabin, measures 3600 mm in length, 1600 mm in width and 1540 mm in height. With a crisp grip the car has front-wheel drive with CVT. It has a dynamic front grille with integrated headlights. The car sports 16-inch alloy wheels with 185/55 R16 tyres. Price and other details of the car has not been made official yet.
As per media reports, Suzuki A: Wind is likely to debut at the India Auto Expo 2014. Speculations are also ripe in the media that Indian subsidiary Maruti Suzuki A Star will be replaced by the A: Wind. Maruti A-Star could not achieve an unprecedented success like the Alto model did.
