ICAI's reply to RTI application filed regarding "Centralised Allotment of Tax Audit"

In reply to the RTI application filed by CA SURESH WADHWA, ICAI has confirmed that the same was discussed during CC meetings held in December, 2001 and rejected by the CC members. The plea for rejection was  that there was no complaint against the present system of appointment by the assessees and the members were auditing independently.
