More than 100 countries now require or permit the use of IFRS. With the converging of local GAAPS around the world to IFRS, it is fast becoming the global standard for preparation of company financial statements. This seminar provides a rigorous and detailed overview of all IFRS provisions & includes illustrative examples & case studies
OBJECTIVES
To explain the current requirements of IFRS & the future requirements of IFRS, IFRS recognition principles how applied, how are IFRS measurement principles applied., the differences between Indian GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS, where can up to date information about IFRS be obtained, the difference between Fair Value and Historical Costs, the key accounting changes, the challenges of transition to IFRS, the impact of IFRS on Financial statements and ratios.

Fee

Faculty
Mr A.R.Parasuraman, MCOM,FICWA,ACS,DMS,MFM(JBIMS). He has industry experience in various Companies including TATA Group. He also worked with an International Consulting Firm from UK on a Consulting Project. Mr Parasuraman has been a visiting faculty at IIT Mumbai, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, NMIMS, ICSI, ICFAI, NITIE, etc.
