Financial Analyst I 

Description

BPO is one of the fastest growing business segments in HP and within BPO, India is seen as a growth area. This position is a key member of the BPO team in India.

The job would be to provide accurate reporting and analysis to HPFS on a global/regional level. This will include Balance Sheet analysis, P&L analysis, VAT returns, Specific reserves, accrual/rollfoward entries etc. in the F&A vertical. These are the high-end jobs moving into Bangalore which needs to be transitioned and stabilized in Bangalore. The challenge would be to handle customers on a world wide basis. The delivery will be the Reporting and Analysis on a global basis.  Delivery on agreed upon service levels is critical. The person would need to work to customer timings. The person should understand accounting flows & impacts.

 Responsibilities include

-Performs accounting activities where significant judgement, developed technical skill and/or strong

-Problem solving ability is required due to risk and/complexity.

-Preparation of month end accounts for lease portfolios on a timely basis

-Review of lease portfolio accounts for accuracy and completeness

-Provision of P&L and BS analysis for each portfolio.

-Review journals

-Review Account reconciliations

-Preparation and filing of VAT returns

Qualifications

Qualification

CA Fresher / A Chartered Accountant with at least 2 years experience. Leasing knowledge/ experience preferable.
