Job Purpose:
- The incumbent manages the PCIP / GIS process at GSS Q&RM Center, serving multiple customer groups and leads a team of associates and supervisors. He/she is responsible for the team's productivity, quality of service, performance management and development of the team members. He/she also assists the Q&RM leadership in recruitment of resources and marketing of Q&RM services to existing and potential customer groups.
Role and Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the implementation of GSS support to PCIP / GIS process across multiple customers
- Coordinates the PCIP / GIS process in the GSS and helps audit engagement teams to maintain auditor independence with respect to their clients
- Builds up significant domain expertise on PCIP / GIS process and other related independence processes and tools.
- Develops comprehensive knowledge of EY Global / US SEC independence policies and relevant independence procedures to demonstrate GSS team's ability to provide support to different kinds of audit clients (corporate, asset management companies, private equity companies) and different kinds of independence procedures.
- Consults with Area Independence teams on complex situations to enable engagement teams sign-off on the independence procedures on a timely basis.
- Improves existing GIS / PCIP process in close coordination with GSS Q&RM leadership and customer groups.
- Builds and manages existing and future development of PCIP / GIS associates in the GSS.
- Manages performance of team members-from setting goals to assessing performance against goals to providing performance feedback.
- Manages efficiency and productivity of team members on a day-to-day basis. Ensures adherence to PCIP / GIS work-flow protocol and tools.
- Responsible for quality of output through internal review mechanisms
- Workflow allocation and ensuring delivery in agreed timelines
- Coordinates training schedules for new and existing members of the GIS / PCIP team.
- Coaches and mentors team members for professional development, and recommends training requirements to address perceived gaps.
- Continuously looks for new opportunities for the GSS to add value to the GIS / PCIP process.
The Incumbent of this position must have:-
Education: MBA from a reputed institute or CA or CFA (US) at a post-graduate level
Experience: At least 5-6 years of relevant experience in:
Compliance or legal (General counsel) functions in Big 4 or other professional service organizations
Business research and analysis
